FINANCE
- A treasurer, elected
annually from and by the members of the council, shall oversee the finances
of the association.
- The accounts of the
association shall be presented annually to the council by the treasurer
before that treasurer demits office.
- All members,
professed and in formation, shall contribute to the general fund of the
association a minimum amount annually, as determined by the council.
- The association’s
bank account shall be operated by the treasurer and counter signed by one
other office bearer, or more as the council may decide.
- Single items of
expenditure over £100 require the prior approval of a majority of the
council.
- Should the
association of the Glasgow Lay Dominicans ever come to an end, any existing
funds shall be donated to the English Province of the Order of Preachers.
